Get kids off on the right foot this new year by cultivating in them a joy of reading. Brooklyn’s Greenlight Bookstore is lining up a series of story time events for kids in its Prospect Lefferts Gardens (632 Flatbush Ave) and Fort Greene (686 Fulton St) locations. Saturday Story Time - with titles such as The Case for Loving and Radiant Child: The Story of Young Artist Jean-Michel Basquiat - will have authors appearing in both stores during the day (for kids ages 3-8). The Young Readers Book Group (for kids ages 9-12) will meet in Fort Greene on Tuesdays and Prospect Lefferts Garden on Wednesdays - kids will get lost in the worlds found in contemporary and classic chapter books while noshing on free pizza. Don’t miss out on the celebration of Greenlight’s newest location at Prospect Lefferts Garden. On January 7 at 1:30pm, there will be a story time for families as well as treats, activities, and giveaways.
