Grow Your Own Poem!

This educational family workshop at the Anne Frank Center USA combines poetry, horticulture and history. Textile artist Robin Atlas will lead participants through a project in which they will decorate a plant pot using text and collage techniques. Kids will plant a seedling in their pot, which they will then take home. All art supplies will be provided. After the workshop, families may want to check out Atlas' exhibit, Lashon Hara: On the Consequences of Hate Speech, which is currently on view in the Anne Frank Center USA gallery. Ages 8 and up.
