Time Out says

Curious if that fossil your kid's hiding under the bed is the real deal? Find out! The American Museum of Natural History invites visitors to bring their own specimens to the museum for identification. Scientists will have a look at artifacts such as shells, rocks, feathers, bones and insects. Tiny patrons can also explore specimens from the museum’s collections. This year, in conjunction with the "T. rex: The Ultimate Predator," scientists will show off their most predatory species! All ages.
