In Search of Something Special

The Playground for All Children invites kids of all ages and abilities to explore their senses through a full afternoon of interactive activities. Little ones will get their hands dirty building with colored mud, create paintings by blowing colored bubbles onto paper and make sculptures with ripped paper, colored tape, found items and recycled materials. Using a computer vision installation, they can use movement to generate color and sound, or those with a good sense of smell can use their noses in an olfactory workshop with a perfumer and scent artist. All of the special needs–friendly activities are made possible thanks to the NYC Parks Department, Queens Museum, NYSCI and other partners. All ages.
