Intermediate and advanced violinists, violists, and cellists are placed in either a chamber orchestra or ensemble, and receive instrument masterclasses, sectional instruction, workshops, and performances by guest artists. The young musicians will also take a field trip to a major cultural institution, and perform in a final concert at Merkin Concert Hall at week's end. Camp runs Aug 18–22, Mon–Fri 9am-4:15pm. One-week session $495. Ages 9 to 18.
