Watch students from 10 New York City public schools perform their original plays put on by the LeAp OnStage program. The nonprofit organization LeAp encourages inner-city kids to participate in the arts through this program. Students were instructed in workshops where they learned skills in playwrighting, acting, directing and production and design. One play from each school was chosen by Broadway professionals to be turned into a full production. Fives performances will be shown each evening and every play will run for about 10 minutes. Ages 8 and up.
