Meet the Author: David Ira Rottenberg

Gwendolyn, the Graceful Pig tells the tale of a young pig who dreams of being a ballet dancer. As the writer reads his story aloud,  performers from the Joffrey Ballet School will present a dance interpretation of the work. Even better, the school’s Children’s Dance Director will give a mini dance lessons to all would-be ballerinas. After they’ve been introduced to the world of dance, a raffle off two full scholarship gift certificates will help encourage the newfound creativity. Pictures with the dancers and the author will preserve the memory. Ages 3 to 8.
