Time Out says

Celebrate National Moth Week—yes, it’s a thing—at the Staten Island Museum’s annual Moth Night! The museum has teamed up with the Staten Island Children’s Museum to learn more about these nocturnal creatures. Kids can get their faces painted, go on a night hike, build moth attractors, do shadow dancing and check out a giant glowing cicada sculpture titled “Love Motel for Insects.” We bet moths won’t be the only thing drawn in by the light. All ages.
