Jackson, 9, from Midtown says: "I am thankful for my grandparents and uncle that slept at our apartment since Hurricane Sandy."
Oliver, 5, from Midtown says: "I am thankful for my puppy Jedi and Friday night dinners with my family"
Emily, 11, from Murray Hill says: "I am thankful for my mom, who is letting me get a cell phone, my dad, who over-explains math problems, my sister, who listens to my problems in the dark at 11pm and is a fellow musical theatre lover, and my BFFs, who make

Thanksgiving is a time for families to get together to eat delicious turkey dinners and say thanks. We asked kids in New York "what are you thankful for?"
In honor of Thanksgiving, we asked city kids: "What are you thankful for?" this season. As expected the answers were super sweet: Kids mentioned their families, the fact that they were safe after the hurricaneand other quirkier things like apples.
