Time Out says

Keep the Halloween spirit alive (or is that "undead?") at this cultural event celebrating spooky Japanese folklore. Kids will learn about Japan's obake ("a thing that changes") and yokai (spirits and monsters) through storytelling, arts & crafts projects, creepy animated films and a haunted maze. They can also make monster masks, try on Japanese bingata clothes, play a traditional Okinawan fishing game, enjoy performances by pop music duo Charan-Po-Rantan and participate in a ghostly scavenger hunt. Don your Halloween costumes and join in on the fun! Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Be warned that some activities may be appropriate for older children only. Ages 3 and up.
