Picture Book Biographies

The Chelsea bookstore welcomes the writers and illustrators behind five recently released picture book biographies to share their stories with youngsters. Little ones can meet Matt Tavares (Jack's Path of Courage: The Life of John F. Kennedy), Joseph D'Agnese and John O'Brien (Blockhead: The Life of Fibonacci), Bryan Collier (Dave Potter: Artist, Poet, Slave), Gary Golio and Javaka Steptoe (Jimi: Sounds Like a Rainbow: A Story of the Young Jimi Hendrix) and Roxane Orgill and Sean Qualls (Skit-Scat Raggedy Cat: Ella Fitzgerald). After presenting their books, the authors and artists will sign copies of their tomes. Ages 4 to 10.
