Plover Day Festival

Make your way over to Rockaway Beach to learn all about the birds that call the location home—and why these endangered species are worth protecting. Participate in educational activities and crafts focusing on the piping plover and learn how you can share the sandy beach with these creatures. The event will take place on the boardwalk at Beach 86th St and Shorefront Pkwy. All ages.
