Presidents' Vacation Week at Wave Hill

During midwinter break, venture to Wave Hill for a series of hands–on family events inspired by the sky. On Tuesday, Feb 17, kids will study the constellations, then recreate their favorite using an empty cereal box and LED light strings. On Wednesday, Feb 18, they'll explore different types of clouds, learn how to make weather predictions and craft their own airy mosaics using glass tiles. Finally, on Feb 19, little ones will gather inspiration from the artist and sculptor Anselm Kiefer to create textured, mixed-media landscapes on canvas. Registration is required. Ages 5 to 10.
