Rockaway Park Playground

The New York City Parks Department has unveiled a beauty: the newly revamped Rockaway Park Playground in Queens, just a stone's throw from the beloved beach. With the new redo, Rockaway Park as a whole is now outfitted with basketball and handball courts, a skate park, a climbing wall, a water play feature and even a performance space. That means we've got yet another reason to hop the train to Rockaway.
