Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden: Wake Up Garden!

Little greenthumbs will dig (and dig in!) the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden, opening in April. Assisted by NYBG staff, they'll weed, compost, plant seeds and, when the time comes, harvest the fruits of their labors. They can also check out Mario Batali's Edible Garden, where the celeb chef's favorite cooking ingredients grow, including berries, beets, beans, garlic and greens. All ages.
