Temple of Dendur Anniversary Celebration

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Temple of Dendur at The Met with exciting activities for kids! At 11am and 2pm, families can participate in an Art Trek tour (free with museum admission) to learn about The Met's most famous works of art, plus there are 15-minute talks running from 11am–6pm that cover topics like rituals and architecture at the Temple. A wonderful highlight of the day will be “A Pop of Color on The Temple of Dendur,” which displays through light how the Temple may have appeared long ago. Ages 7–11.
