The Knickerbocker Suite

The talented youngsters at Manhattan Youth Ballet give the traditional Nutcracker story a Gotham twist. A dancing Statue of Liberty performs  Mother Ginger and Her Polichinelles alongside immigrants at Ellis Island, and frantic shoppers snag last-minute gifts at Macy's and Bloomingdale's, which serve as the Land of Snow. The show features glimpses of famed New York spots like Central Park, the angels at Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue. All ages.
