The Brooklyn Children’s Museum teams up with Repair the World, a non-profit that focuses on volunteerism and social action, to celebrated the Jewish birthday of the trees. Children will learn about nature and the important role trees play on our planet through leaf rubbings, interactive storytelling, and by inspecting seed specimens, bark, branches, bird nests, and fruits. They’ll even get to taste some of the yummy Israeli products trees produce, including olives, dates, figs, grapes, and pomegranates. The Pop-Ups present their new show “The Pretenders Club” complete with music from their Grammy-nominated albums, dancing robots, giant puppets, a fire-stomping rhino, and a costume party. Various ages.
