Urban Stages' Puppet Takeover

For three Sundays in November, puppets storm the stages at this Chelsea theater. Kickoff the set with a performance of Peruvian folktale The Dancing Guinea Pig, followed by a puppet-making and performance workshop with the pros (11/3). Next week, catch Blown Away by Poetry, in which Wendy Windstorm's sneeze makes all the poetry disappear from Poetsville. Afterwards, kids can write their own poems and perform them onstage (11/10). Finally, older kiddos will enjoy Lucy's Question, a musical about a young girl's curiosity about nature (11/17). Ages 5 to 12.
