Writetopia Lab

Founded by teacher and journalist Rebecca Wallace-Segall, these longrunning writing workshops (which take place in various locations throughout NYC) are limited to small groups and led by published authors. The trimester-long programs meet once a week for an hour and a half, giving budding wordsmiths plenty of time to hone their craft. The varied offerings allow each writer to plunge into what really interests them, whether that’s creating graphic novels, penning personal essays or exploring different genres in the general creative writing workshop. Ages 8 and up.
