Time Out says

All aboard, Yankee fans! Make your way to the Bronx in style, courtesy of a 1917 Lo-V train car. On Friday and Saturday, the New York Transit Museum will host nostalgia rides for those making their way to the playoff games. “Riding the same train cars that were in service back when Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth were dominating the American League makes an already enjoyable trip that much more special," said Concetta Bencivenga, the museum's director. Make sure to arrive on time: On Friday, Oct 4 at 4pm and Saturday, Oct 5 at 2pm, the old-school train will arrive at uptown 4 train platform of 42nd Street: Grand Central. The expected ride uptown is 25 minutes. (Not bad for a commute into another borough!) Learn more on the museum's website. Let's go Yanks! All ages.
