Ecology Walk: Beaches in Winter

Older kids (ages 8 and up) and their parents now have a way to embrace winter head-on—by going for a walk on a Staten Island beach in search of horned lark, merganser and waterfowl. If you get lucky you may even spy harbor seals in the bay. Check the museum's website for the exact meet-up spot. Ages 8 and up.
