It’s not always rainbows and butterflies in the unicorn-verse. The pretty-in-pink, mythical-creature drink trend has just gotten ugly, as a Montauk-inspired coffee shop in Brooklyn is suing Starbucks for stealing its unicorn name.

The End Brooklyn began churning out its Unicorn Latte—a non-caffeinated, algae-filled health juice for $9back in December 2016, several months before Starbucks launched its viral, syrupy frap in April.

The Williamsburg cafe is claiming trademark infringement, as it's had a trademark pending on the name since January. Starbucks is countering that the suit is “without merit.”

Forget the drinks, folks, grab some popcorn.
