For today only, The New York Historical Society (170 Central Park West) in partnership with AT&T is offering free admission in honor of Veterans day. This includes access to special events specifically for armed servicemen and women.

And in order to celebrate national unity during this extremely difficult time in the United States, the Brooklyn Museum (200 Eastern Parkway) has decided to open its doors to the public for free all weekend long, in hopes that visitors will take the time enjoy its newly installed American Art galleries, which celebrates our richly diverse country.

So, go on, take some “me” time and explore two of New York’s finest attractions.
