The saga of SantaCon continues—due to neighborhoods flat-out banning the citywide bar crawl and planned protests scheduled for Saturday, December 13, SantaCon organizers are making major changes to this year's route. Organizers are asking revelers to patronize only participating venues and bars and to "move throughout the day from venue to venue but spend most of your time inside, not on the streets," relayed in a message on the official NYC SantaCon site.

Tonight, SantaCon announced its official starting point and it's (drumroll, please) Times Square. So if you're a drunken Santa, head to Seventh Ave between 43rd and 44th Streets tomorrow at 10am. And if you're among those who don't enjoy the chaos of Times Square on a normal day, be sure to keep your distance.
The full list of participating bars and venues can be accessed through the SantaCon app. According to EV Grieve, these are the spots that will welcome Santas on Saturday:
The Keg Room NYC
Maru Karaoke Lounge
Pacha (where the pre-party will be held from 11am–3pm)
Playwright Irish Pub
Rattle 'n Hum
Reichenbach Beer Hall
230 Fifth Avenue Rooftop & Lounge
The Thirsty Fan
