The deep freeze that has blanketed New York City in an icy terror is set to retreat this week. A chilly Christmas, frigid New Year’s Eve and a “bomb cyclone” have left people across town feeling frostbitten and desperate for temperatures above freezing. Here are the 15 best we came across—hopefully they make you feel better about living in a place that was literally colder than parts of Antarctica at the start of the year.
