NYC's most famous winter village is making its festive return next month, with free skating and 180+ vendors

Time to get into the holiday spirit, and we're not talking about Halloween. Set your sights on the winter season, because Bryant Park’s Bank of America Winter Village is officially kicking off its 25th season next month. The Village opens on Wednesday, October 28, and runs all the way through February 28, 2027.

The centerpiece, of course, is The Rink. It's where thousands of thrills and spills happen every year. It’s still the city’s only free-admission ice-skating rink, and you can twirl around to your heart's content regardless of your skill level.

If you prefer keeping your feet firmly on the ground, The Holiday Shops by Urbanspace are returning with more than 180 vendors from October 28 to January 3. It’s the ultimate destination for buying artisanal candles you may or may not need, gourmet treats that will sideline holiday diet plans, and last-minute holiday gifts.

To take a break from the cold, head over to The Lodge. The bustling, rink-side food hall is packed with tasty eats and two full-service bars. Here you can watch as everyone else wobbles around the ice rink from the cozy confines of this festive—and heated—food hall, cocktail in hand.

To add to the holiday joy, Santa himself is making two appearances this year. Club Santa, popping up November 28, 29 and December 5 and 6, is a VIP experience that combines the perks of Premium Skate with a little extra holiday magic: time with Santa, holiday treats and festive crafts in the heated Polar Lounge plus skate rentals, skate concierge service and an extended skating session.
