With all the menorahs, trees and Christmas lights illuminating the city, we’re really starting to feel the holiday spirit. There are many New York attractions you should visit during the merriest time of year, but aside from the obvious, like Rockefeller Center and the Winter Village at Bryant Park, here’s a spot you may have overlooked.

The Standard, High Line’s Holiday Plaza is extremely festive. Multi-colored tinsel trees lead revelers to a Hot Cocoa Shack serving classic hot chocolate, salted caramel hot chocolate and white chocolate chai. (Better yet, you can add booze! Make it a loco cocoa by adding a shot of mezcal, spiced rum or Campari cream.) Too much sugar for you? Grab hearty munchies like poutine and a Monte Cristo sandwich to balance the sweetness.

Also at the Plaza, The Standard has partnered with Hester Street Fair for a mini market pop-up with vendors hawking beauty and CBD products, fashion and more delicious grub.

The next time you pay a visit to the High Line, definitely make some time to stop by and enjoy this winter wonderland.
