It took a few years but it's finally a reality: beloved Brooklyn pizzeria L'Industrie is officially opening its first ever Manhattan outpost this Wednesday, according to the shop's own Instagram account.

Fans of the famous slice shop will be able to devour some top-notch pizza at 104 Christopher Street by Bleecker Street in the West Village, where the new L'Industrie is set to open, in just a couple of days.

Considered by many to be one of the best places to get pizza in NYC, L'Industrie was established by owner Massimo Laveglia, a Tuscany native, in Williamsburg back in 2017. A few years later, in the spring of 2021, incessant pizza-related foot traffic led the team to expand into the space next door.

Fast forward a couple of years and the L'Industrie team now finally lays claim to its very own Manhattan address, in one of the city's most sought-after neighborhoods.

No word yet on what sort of pizza will be served on premise, but we suspect (and expect!) that the shop's iconic burrata slice will be on offer. Basically a classic New York slice boasting a few leaves of basil and two dollops of burrata, the food will melt in your mouth and indirectly force you to come back and eat some more over and over again.

Your devotion to the fare offered in the new West Village pizzeria will be so intense that you might end up considering getting married here. It wouldn't be the first time that happened on site.
