If you spend enough time on #FoodTok, you’ve probably come across Jack Goldburg (@jacksdiningroom). Immediately recognizable by his 'Yes Chef' hat, Goldburg tours around the city (and the world) scouting for the best eats, from noteworthy burgers to solid slices of 'za. This September, Goldburg is bringing together some of his favorite bites for a two-day feasting event.
On September 26 and 27, Yes Chef Food Fest will be returning to NYC, this time landing in Queens. Taking over the parking lots at Citi Field, the festival will bring together over 35 restaurants curated by Goldburg for a two-day celebration of eats, libations and live music. For just a taste of who will be in attendance, expect Dominican 'cue from Bark Barbecue, excellent slices of pizza from Mama's Too, bureka from Buba Bureka and wagyu smash burgers from NADC Burger.
Throughout the fest, guests can also nosh on free eats including freshly shucked oysters, caviar bumps from Dear Caviar and traditional asada from Mexican steakhouse Cuerno. Attendees can also catch live demos, including the breakdown of a 300-pound bluefin tuna from Sushi by Bou and a 100-pound pig roast led by celebrity chef Aaron May.
New this year is the festival’s VIP experience: Yes Chef Reserve. VIP goers can experience live binchotan grilling from David Shim and Simon Kim of COTE, an immersive caviar lagoon from chef Michael Mina and a micro-omakase from chef Phillip Frankland Lee. Splurge on an unlimited premium open bar featuring custom cocktails crafted by Sip & Guzzle.
General admission tickets start at $52.90 per person; 49.72 for a bundle of three. VIP tickets are priced at $521.54. Food items can be purchased on-site. Buy your tickets here.
