In case you've missed it, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has recently made an announcement that hotels are now allowed to resume providing accommodation to guests for leisure and opening their recreation areas to children – subject to stringent safe distancing measures, that is. But we are finally allowed to staycation again, and there are now more than 100 hotels accepting reservations for a staycation. So if you're looking to spend quality time with bae, or a get together with your closest friends, it's time to get planning. Here's a running list of our favourite hotels that can now accept guests again, with immediate effect. After being shuttered for a few months, the iconic Marina Bay Sands is finally opening its doors for staycation reservations again. Book yourself a stay at one of the accommodation options – ranging from the deluxe and premier rooms to one of the hotel's suites – and take in breathtaking views from the floor-to-ceiling windows at this iconic hotel. 

There are various staycation promotions for you to take advantage of: including a $40 discount off your room per night and a free $75 credit for you to spend during your luxurious stay. Rates start from $379.

We may not be able to go on a tropical vacation right now, but a staycation at Sofitel Singapore Resort & Spa comes close. The resort has been approved to accept staycation reservations again and is now an SG Clean certified hotel, which means that it follows stringent cleaning standards and operational protocols aligned with the Safe Management Measures mandated by local authorities.
