Sorry, neighbours up north. After a three-year run on your lands, Future Music Festival Asia (FMFA) has upped and left for our pastures, making Singapore the premier nightlife destination in the region. (As though it wasn’t already.) And the line-up this year is looking raving good. Lucky us.

Over a weekend this month, the Changi Exhibition Centre plays host to some of dance music’s biggest stars. Fatboy Slim, Avicii, The Prodigy, Afrojack… the list goes on. The festival also gets local and regional names behind the decks, so you can throw yo’ hands up to hip hop DJ Nez, get down with the house-y Aldrin and, for the hipsters, hop about to Poptart’s indie disco. There are even carnival rides, a slew of food and drinks and relaxation zones to give your feet some much-needed R&R.
