There's no place quite as fitting for a Father's Day meal as Gilmore & Damian D'Silva in the National Gallery. Named after Chef Damian's grandfather, who was once the custodian of the former Supreme Court – and a skilled cook – the restaurant now takes over his former living quarters. On the menu: home-style Eurasian dishes passed down from Gilmore himself. Throughout the month of June and on Father's Day itself, four special items will take centre-stage: smoked pork knuckle dhalcha ($80), a spiced lentil stew simmered with smoked pork and ham; Pop's sambal king prawn ($56) with sambal; chicken vindaloo ($32), a 30-ingredient recipe inspired by Portuguese vinha d'alhos; and the green mango sambal ($16). PS: desserts are a must – try the sugee cake ($18) and the rotating selection of homemade kueh (from $12 for six).

If Dad's the type who never says no to a classic Cantonese feast, Jia He Grand at One Farrer Hotel is a fail-proof pick this Father's Day. The restaurant just launched a new line-up of set menus for 2026, with options that cater to everything, from intimate family meals to big, multi-generational gatherings. Throughout June, you also get to knock off $100 on your bill if you order a set menu priced above $888. Expect comforting crowd-pleasers like steamed soon hock fish in soy sauce and roasted golden suckling pig, as well as more contemporary dishes like the crispy fried crystal prawns with an orange-yuzu dressing, or the roasted London duck with black truffle sauce. Even the two-person and four-person set menus are thoughtfully created without scrimping on the ingredients – think pan-fried Iberico pork chop, double-boiled chicken soup with baby abalone and morel mushrooms and more.

For a casual, fuss-free option that will still make Dad feel special, look no further than Black Tap. From June 19 to 21, the burger and craft beer joint will be serving its annual Father's Day menu item: the Boss Burger ($38). It's a classic double bacon cheeseburger topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and slathered with Black Tap's homemade sauce for a juicy, messy bite.
