Some of you might enjoy basking in the toasty waters of Nowhere Baths and Joya Onsen Café, but others might be scratching their heads wondering why anyone would want to soak in a hot human broth in Singapore’s sweltering weather. Well, if you can’t take the heat, this one’s for you: Homegrown wellness business The Ice Bath Club is opening the doors to its newest facility at Tanjong Pagar this September.

While The Ice Bath Club has two other existing outlets in Singapore, this is the first branch that’s located in town, which makes it more convenient for those working in the area to let off some steam after a gruelling day.

It’s as much a wellness retreat as it is a respite from the hot temperatures outside, as it’s primarily designed with recovery and rejuvenation in mind. Other than ice baths, this Duxton Road shophouse outlet also has an all-new ice shower, along with a hot magnesium jacuzzi and social sauna. Rotate between these every few minutes for max health benefits.

Like a swimming pool, this blue-and-wood-toned space is gender-inclusive, so no funny business – swimsuits are a must. Not to worry if you’ve forgotten yours; Swimmers are provided along with towels, so a spontaneous visit is totally possible. In fact, bookings aren’t even required. An off-peak pass starts from $39.

Complete your session with wellness foods like acai bowls and sandwiches at the in-house café.

The Ice Bath Club’s Tanjong Pagar outlet is located at 68 Duxton Road, Singapore 089527, while the other outlets are located at River Valley and East Coast (Tanjong Katong). Find out more here.
