Confirmed under the Greater Sentosa Master Plan, the land is expected to include Mario Kart and Yoshi rides

Super Nintendo World is coming to Singapore – and yes, it's as official as it gets. Universal Studios Singapore has confirmed the beloved Nintendo-themed land as part of the Greater Sentosa Master Plan, the government blueprint for Sentosa's next two decades. Expect it by 2030.
This immersive land brings the beloved video games from Nintendo to life like Super Mario and Donkey Kong. Currently, the land is located in three Universal Studio Parks worldwide – Universal Studios Japan (Osaka, Japan), Universal Studios Hollywood (California, USA) and Universal Epic Universe (Orlando, Florida, USA).
Based on the parks in Osaka and in America, here’s what we can look forward to for Singapore.
If Singapore follows the same format as existing parks, you can expect to enter through the iconic green Warp Pipe before being greeted by Princess Peach’s Castle. You will also get to purchase power-up bands to punch glowing question mark boxes, collect digital coins while unlocking challenges within the land.
There are two main attractions across Super Nintendo World. Yoshi’s Adventure takes riders on a Yoshi across Mushroom Kingdom while Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge offers an interactive AR kart racing experience.
Super Nintendo World in Osaka and Orlando also have Donkey Kong Country land, featuring Mine-Cart Madness – a thrilling roller coaster that recreates the cart jumps in the game. Fingers crossed that Singapore becomes the third location with this themed park.
Based on the existing Super Nintendo World parks, you can also expect dine-in experiences like Toadstool Café, designed to resemble Toad’s house, with screens of Chef Toad preparing food. Menu items include a Mario burger, Yoshi’s Spinach Carbonara and a ‘?’ block tiramisu.
While Super Nintendo World is set to be completed by 2030, specific details and opening dates on the land are still not available. Do follow Sentosa's Instagram for future updates.
Both Sentosa and Pulau Brani will be integrated under the Sentosa Greater Masterplan – meaning more space for new hotels, attractions and experiences. New landmarks to look forward to include Imbiah Canopy, a vantage point atop Mount Imbiah; Imbiah Lookout Walk, a forest canopy walk; and Sensorium, a site for lifestyle and indoor attractions.
Beaches will be rejuvenated, with Sentosa exploring more coastal activities, beach clubs, and a floating boardwalk between islets.
Getting around the island will also become a lot easier with a People Mover System that will replace the existing Sentosa Express. Water taxis may become a reality, too, to complement the existing cable car connection to the mainland.
