Another café is setting foot in Singapore – and this one already comes with a bit of a fanbase in tow. Bangkok-born specialty coffee and matcha brand Ve/La is officially bringing its first-ever airport cafe to Changi Airport Terminal 1, located landside near Jewel Changi Airport.

Ve/La first launched in Bangkok in 2021 and has since expanded to around 12 outlets across Thailand. Singapore is its second international outpost after the UK, with this opening marking the brand’s very first airport location, its third overall market, and its first-ever 24-hour café.

The Changi outlet focuses on what Ve/La does best: specialty coffee, matcha, and tea. This includes some of its signature drinks from Bangkok, such as the Kaimook Latte, Sunny Cold Brew, and Cloudy Cold Brew. Alongside its core offerings, the Singapore store will also feature a local-exclusive creation: a kaya toast-inspired latte.

The space is designed as a “pause between worlds” – a place that welcomes people as they arrive in a city, a final stop to wish travellers well before they depart, and a weekend escape for locals who aren’t flying anywhere. The interiors reflect this: think softer finishes and natural materials to create a quieter atmosphere amid the bustle of travel.

Ve/La has not yet announced pricing details and an opening date for its Changi Airport café. Follow them on Instagram for the launch and menu details.
