It features the Southeast Asian debut of the Louvre exhibition and the world premiere of a VR Arctic showcase

If France isn’t on your itinerary anytime soon, get in on this – the vOilah! France Singapore Festival 2026 returns from April 25 to June 20, bringing 26 programmes spanning French art, film, gastronomy, science, and music.
Organised by the Embassy of France in Singapore with 21 partners, the festival brings together French and Singaporean creatives through a mix of collaborations and cultural exchanges.
And where better to start than with the classics – wine and cheese. Head to the French Food Market at VivoCity, where producers and importers showcase cheeses, charcuterie, pastries, breads and wines, alongside live demonstrations by chefs Sébastien Lepinoy of three-Michelin-starred Les Amis, and Jérémy Gillon, formerly of one-Michelin-starred Restaurant JAG.
From there, the programme moves into the visual arts. One of the key highlights is Crosscurrents: Masterpieces of Indian, Iranian & Ottoman Art, presented at the Asian Civilisations Museum. Making its Southeast Asian debut, the exhibition brings works from the Musée du Louvre into dialogue with ACM’s collection, tracing historical connections between Asia, Europe and the Islamic world.
Environmental storytelling is also a standout this year: One Ocean: Every Action Ripples, developed with the Science Centre Singapore and the Tara Ocean Foundation, will make its world premiere right here in our city. Produced by Ride Fx, the exhibition recreates elements of the Tara Ocean Polar Station through VR, immersive projections and spatial sound – taking you through Arctic ice, coral reefs, plankton ecosystems and ocean currents.
On the music side, famed Austrian conductor Hans Graf will also conclude his tenure as Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s Principal Guest Conductor with the Hans Graf Farewell Series: Mystère de l’Instant, featuring works by composers such as Dutilleux, Poulenc, Milhaud and Ravel.
The film line-up is packed with prestigious titles: the European Union Film Festival features Love Me Tender by Anna Cazenave Cambet, a Cannes-premiered drama on identity, motherhood and freedom. And over at Sentosa, screenings include acclaimed French animations at Palawan Kidz City Roof Garden, such as César Award-winning Ernest and Celestine, Michel Ocelot’s Dilili in Paris, and Annecy Award-winning Calamity: A Childhood of Martha Jane Cannary.
