Think Dimoo-shaped cookies, Molly chocolates, and packaging as collectible as the figurines

As if Pop Mart needs another way to tempt us. The blindbox giant also has its own bakery concept, and it's about to land at Weave at Resorts World Sentosa, inside an enormous two-storey flagship that’s opening very soon.
If you've somehow managed to avoid the blind box craze, here's the gist: Pop Mart is a Chinese collectibles company best known for its mystery-box designer toys. Instead of knowing exactly what you're buying, each box contains a surprise figurine from a themed collection, with the chance of scoring a rare "secret" edition. Pop Mart is best known for its adorable original characters like Labubu, Molly, Dimoo and Skullpanda.
The bakery concept isn't entirely new. Pop Mart has previously rolled out Pop Bakery experiences in China, where fans could pick up character-themed desserts, collectible packaging and exclusive merchandise.

For its Singapore outpost however, details are still under wraps. But if its previous outlets in China are anything to go by, here’s what the experience could look like.
Expect the brand's signature collectible obsession to spill over into the food. Instead of plain old pastries, think whimsical sweets inspired by Pop Mart’s beloved characters. Overseas editions have featured everything from Dimoo-shaped cookies to Molly chocolates, all wrapped in packaging that's just as collectible as the figurines themselves.
The experience is unlikely to stop at the food, too. Expect huge displays, playful installations and plenty of corners made for photo opportunities, with familiar faces like Labubu, Skullpanda and Dimoo popping up throughout the space.
With that, the official launch is still a mystery, but with the storefront already impossible to miss, it's safe to say the countdown has well and truly begun.
