Didn’t manage to snag a BTO unit near Punggol Coast? How ‘bout a staycation there instead? You could be waking up to Coney Island views the morning after checking in at Punggol’s first-ever hotel, set to open within Tower 98 of Punggol Digital District within the first half of 2027. Managed by Habyt – the same hospitality group behind the co-living space at Kada – this new accommodation will welcome guests seeking both short-term and longer stays.

The hotel’s location probably tells you that it’s catered towards business travellers and those working in the area, but there’s absolutely no reason why the rest of us can’t bunk in for a few nights of R&R. Based on artist impressions, Habyt at Punggol looks metropolitan and inviting, with a warm, orange-accented colour palette balanced out by neutrals. In addition to standard rooms, guests can look forward to more spacious lofts.

And then there are the facilities. According to JTC, Habyt at Punggol will have a “Wash & Play” laundry area where residents can mingle while getting chores out of the way, and a co-working café where people can chill or network. But it’s the wellness hub that we’re most excited about, as that’s where you’ll find an infinity pool with expansive seafront views.

With the hotel being steps away from Punggol Coast Mall and Punggol Coast Hawker Centre, finding good food will never be an issue. Once you’ve fuelled up, rent a bicycle from a nearby kiosk and soak in the tranquillity of Coney Island – or even go further down to Lorong Halus Wetland and Pasir Ris Park if you’re up for a longer expedition.
