Pick your own premium ingredients at the marketplace and watch them go straight over the flames

If grills by the sea sounds like your kind of thing, then don’t miss out on Sentosa’s GrillFest 2026. Returning to Siloso Beach from now to August 16, this year's edition is the biggest yet, pulling together 42 food vendors across five zones, including 18 newcomers, returning heavy-grillers, and a brand-new omakase-style dining experience right on the sand – air-conditioned.
There'll also be golden hour drinks, live music, and a marketplace where you’ll be able to pick out premium ingredients yourself before they're thrown over the flames.
We've had our fill of the 42 stores on the line-up. Here are the six we'd happily queue for again.
One of GrillFest's returning favourites, Jett BBQ has built a loyal following for its hearty Texas-style smoked meats. If you're only ordering one thing, make it the dinosaur ribs.
These hulking ribs are the stars of the menu – think impossibly meaty, fall-apart tender, and pulling away from the bone with barely any effort. While you're there, don't skip the loaded tater tots and tacos as well.
Making its GrillFest debut this year, Monger is bringing a more refined take on beachside barbecue. The concept spotlights premium seafood sourced from around the world, cooked over open flames and fragrant lychee wood to coax out deep, smoky flavours while letting the quality of the ingredients shine.
The must-eat? Go straight for the classic grilled Boston lobster with fries ($22), where a succulent Boston lobster is grilled until lightly charred, locking in its natural sweetness, before being served with a side of crispy fries.
This collaboration between Sentosa's Good Old Days and Chef Mel Dean shines a spotlight on comforting local flavours, with a menu that's also halal-friendly.
The ayam bakar gulai ($18) is the must-order here: a tender char-grilled chicken leg served with a rich, fragrant Indonesian coconut curry that's smoky, creamy and deeply comforting. It also packs quite a kick, so consider this your spice warning.
Imagine tucking into an omakase-style feast in an air-conditioned room powered by a solar system, just steps from the ocean – yes, that's the biggest newcomer at this year's GrillFest, and it isn't technically a stall at all.
Chef's Grill is the festival's biggest new dining experience, bringing an omakase-inspired, restaurant-quality meal to the beachfront in collaboration with the Singapore Chefs' Association. Here, chefs present an eight-course menu (from $128) centred around live-fire cooking, prepared right before your eyes.
Reservations are required.
A GrillFest veteran and crowd favourite, Craft'B has earned a following for turning quality cuts of meat into no-frills, flavour-packed plates. If the name rings a bell, that's because the brand has also been featured on Netflix and the Asian Food Network.
The Netflix-featured steak and fries ($22) is still the dish to beat. The grass-fed ribeye arrives beautifully charred on the outside, juicy and tender within, while the homemade sauces enhance the beef without stealing the spotlight. If you're visiting this year, don't overlook the GrillFest-exclusive spiced grilled chicken either – it's seasoned with a familiar mix of nostalgic Singaporean spices.
This year's edition is the strongest lineup yet, and the Chef's Grill omakase is worth booking ahead if you want something beyond the festival's outdoor beachside eats.
Time Out Tip: Go on a weekday and in the evening if you can – Siloso Beach on a weekend afternoon with 42 stalls and the full Singapore sun is not for the faint-hearted. To get there, simply alight at Beach Station and walk to Siloso Beach.
