Hari Raya Puasa is dawning upon us once again, and while the Ramadan bazaars are making a comeback, we are seeing a scaled-down affair to control crowds and to minimise the spread of Covid-19. However, don’t let that dampen your spirits yet because we have rounded up a list of popular bakers that may keep the excitement of this festive season alive. If you can’t get the goods at the bazaar, these bakers are known for their excellent cakes, cookies and various baked goods. From traditional favourites and old-school classics that are given a modern twist to pastries and desserts, these bakes are all worth trying for. And thanks to their affordable prices, they make your Iftar a whole lot sweeter.

Paparch

Paparch is truly the OG of Basque burnt cheesecakes. Its sought after bakes are usually sold out, creating a month-long waiting list for those eager dessert lovers hoping to sink their teeth into the sweet, melted, ooze of goodness. The cakes don’t have a heavily scorched top, and it boasts a genuinely molten cream cheese heart.
