Hook Coffee

Beans in a bag

Anyone who needs a morning cuppa knows that running out of beans mid-week is the worst. The coffee-holics behind Hook Coffee, Ernest Ting and Faye Sit, understand. Their coffee e-commerce service delivers freshly roasted coffee beans straight to your doorstep, at intervals of your choosing, so you’ll never exhaust your supply of Joe. It comes in whole beans, ground coffee, drip bags and even shot pods for Nespresso machines. New coffees – only specialty-grade Arabica beans are used – are introduced every month, too, so you can be ‘surprised’ with a different one each time.

How much $14 for 200g whole beans and ground coffee, ten 10g drip bags or 20 shot pods. A one-off order is $18.

Thirsty

Craft beer on tap (almost)

Forget about household commercial brews and quench your thirst with craft beers sourced from around the world. If you can’t make it down to one of Thirsty’s four brick-and-mortar outlets to pick up a case (or six, we don’t judge), the people behind this craft beer shop will assemble a pack of six, 12 or 24 brews and deliver it to you. If you’re a craft beer newbie, you can get a one-off taster pack to try out the many beer styles – Thirsty offers everything from light and fruity ales to dark and roasty stouts – or subscribe to a three-month delivery service so you can drink to your liver’s content. The popular beers include Lost Coast Sharkinator White IPA, Modern Times Black House Stout and Ace Pineapple Cider – all of which are pictured.

How much $178/six beers, $328/12 beers, $628/24 beers every month for three months. One-off taster pack starts from $43.
