We're already totally on-board with the Lord Gladstone's Sunday sessions that alternate between disco parties, soul shimmies and hip hop afternoons with live street artists. But now Chippo's hootenanny hotel is taking things to the next level and introducing a monthly burger party.
Burger Lords is set to be a monthly showcase of ridiculous burgers, soul, R'n'B, craft beer and boozy shakes, and to celebrate the launch they're putting your stomach to the ultimate test.
From noon you can order a Notorious B.I.G, which is a 1/2 pounder beef patty, triple cheese, double Hennessy glazed bacon, onion rings, pickles and special sauce with a side of fries, jalapeno poppers and fried chicken strips for $17. If you've got what it takes, there's also a full pounder Biggie burger, which is the same again for $22.
But only the truly courageous will take on the stunt burger, the Biggie Smalls, which is double everything and the kind of monster meal that you'll need to dislocate your jaw to eat. There's going to be an Biggie Smalls burger eating challenge on the day for anyone who wants a shot at the crown.
