Vivid, the largest winter festival in the southern hemisphere, is back in Sydney for 23 days and nights, showcasing an extensive program of Light, Music and Ideas from Friday May 26. This year, we recommend getting amongst it and toasting to the night at Barangaroo venues 12-Micron and Untied.
The latest addition to the streets of Barangaroo is 12-Micron, who offer up cocktails paired with modern Australian food. To celebrate Vivid, they’ve put on three very special offers. Snag yourself a Lemon There Be Lights cocktail (calvados, apple liqueur, rose water, crushed apple and lemon foam) or a Secret Garden Lights Dessert (blackcurrant, lemon, pistachio and mandarin) for $20 each. Or if you’re looking to make a serious splash, there’s the Champagne and oysters special (Dom Pérignon Luminous and 12 oysters served in a Dom Pérignon bento box) for a cool $490.
Rooftop bar Untied are getting equally as Vivid giddy with a Vivid-inspired cocktail list featuring Belvedere vodka and nightly DJ sets. Open until midnight throughout the festival, Untied will be serving Espresso Martinis (Belvedere vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso and burnt marshmallow), Basil Dazzles (Belvedere vodka, pineapple and basil), Vivid Spritzes (Belvedere vodka, Lillet blanc, grapefruit and rosemary) and a Passion Popped mix with Belvedere vodka, Aperol, passionfruit and lemon. DJs will spin tracks from 5pm Thursday to Sunday throughout Vivid as well.
