The best free, cheap and cool things to do at Vivid Sydney 2023
We've put together a list of all the best free, moderately priced and all-round epic things to do in town this glow season.
How to make the most of Sydney's shiniest time of year
Sydney's flashiest and most glow-heavy festival is coming back to town, just in time for winter. And this year, it's going to be even bigger than usual.
Vivid Sydney 2023 will have a little bit of everything going on. Whether it's Jennifer Coolidge, wild and immersive light artworks, abandoned subterranean tunnels filled with robots and lasers, incredible food experiences, or the Southern Hemisphere's biggest ever drone show, Vivid 2023 is set to be a rather spectacular affair.
Inspired by the OG creator, Mother Nature, 2023's theme is 'Vivid Sydney, Naturally'. That theme will be reflected across all 300 activations and events that make up the 23-day (and nights) program, from May 26 to June 17. They've also promised there will be a big nod to the significant contribution of First Nations peoples and cultures to Australia's creative industries.
So, if you are looking for the best things to do, the most amazing art works to see, and the best food to eat during this distinctly glowy season, look no further. We have you covered.
