Time Out says

Jacoby’s Tiki Bar is taking over Deus Bar & Kitchen this Wednesday November 29 to celebrate the life-saving Power of the Posties.

Jacoby's – Enmore's popular, hidden island-style cocktail haunt – will take over Deus – the Camperdown bar and kitchen with a motorcycle theme – to mix a signature cocktail at a very special event that will support children and their communities in Cambodia.

Deus is raising awareness of the life-saving goods that are delivered on postie bikes in Cambodia by international aid agency ChildFund Australia

On a typical day, a bike might deliver vaccines, water filters, solar lamps to villages without electricity, and even seedlings and chickens to rural families who want to expand their farming activities.

Tickets are $80 and include cocktails, canapés, auctions, music and door prizes.

Michael Rose (AM), chair of ChildFund Alliance, will speak about the Power of Posties, and there will be a photography exhibition too.
Proceeds of the night will go towards delivering essential items and services to some of the poorest children, families and villages in Cambodia.

Join the teams from Deus, ChildFund and Jacoby’s as they tackle poverty this Christmas.
