A week dedicated to the king of cocktails kicks off at the Clock
There are few things in life that match an evening spent with a bittersweet Italian aperitif made from equal parts Campari, gin and vermouth. To celebrate this king amongst cocktails, the Clock Hotel is hosting a Negroni Week launch party on Thursday, June 2nd.
Tickets are $35 and the night will involve three Negroni bars serving three twists on the classic drink - a barrel-aged Bianco Negroni, a Frizzante Negroni and an Affogato Negroni. If you really can't get enough of the combination of juniper spirit, bitter orange liqueur and aromatised wine there will be Negroni slushies too. To help balance out all the cocktail action there will also be charcuterie plates, roast pork and pickled eggplant paninis, traditional pizzas and biscotti on the night.
Need more reasons to drink the ultimate aperitif? During Negroni Week at the Clock one dollar from the classic cocktail and the three house twists will be donated to OzHarvest. Good times and good karma all in the one place.
