[title]Public House Petersham’s overhaul was one of the big pub stories of last year. The former Newington Inn now boasts a zhuzhed-up beer garden, an arcade games room and a nomination for the Revival Award in Time Out’s Pub Awards.
They also revised their menu with the addition of a wood-fired pizza oven. And now that winter’s here the menu has undergone another spruce. Highlights include a No Meat Cheeseburger ($19) – made with cauliflower, black bean, crisp gruyère, pickles and barbecue mayo. The Cheesus Christ wood-fired pizza ($21) is a saviour for your hunger with three cheeses (taleggio, mozzarella and pecorino) along with smoked chicken, walnuts and barbecue sauce base.
Moreover, every weekday at Public House Petersham promises two $15 lunch specials, such as chicken and broccoli fettucine, or a steak sandwich with chips. Check out the menu online.
