It's that time of year again, when the Australian Hotelier's Association is looking to crown the best in the hospitality business in NSW. Nominations for a slew of categories are open for another fortnight so don't miss your chance to walk away with one (or several) of the AHA NSW Awards for Excellence.
They're looking for the best up and coming chefs providing top notch dining experiences; bartenders slinging great cocktails; the nightclubs keeping the party vibes pumping and the wine lists that fill your heart with joy as quickly as they empty your wallet.
There are nine new categories for the 2016 awards so if you think you've got the best outdoor experience, best rooftop bar, best innovative refurbishment (country and city), best live music venue (live show or performance), best nightclub/nightlife venue (with dancefloor), best cheap eat meal (under $15), best innovative wine list, best draught beer, or if you back yourself as the best specialty/emerging bar of the year then make sure you nominate your venue.
Need more convincing? Prizes for winners include a trip for two to New Zealand, a three-day experience at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans, a weekend wine and fine dining escape (for two) including return flights from Sydney to Adelaide, and an all-encompassing sports outing including a 10-person catered sports experience at a regular Sydney sporting event and an outside broadcast and stadium tour.
