The inclusive comedy night that puts big laughs, tear-away pants, and total queer joy in the spotlight is back in action for the Sydney Comedy Festival.
Hosted by best friend creative duo Jenna Suffern (self-professed "big lesbian") and Brendan Hancock (proud THOT, curly hair advocate) the show, which has been monthly and weekly in previous iterations since launching in 2019, always involves a lineup that champions fabulous LGBTQIA+ comedians and creates a warm safe space for everyone on the stage and in the audience. You never know quite what you’re in for with Two Queers – antics in past shows have involved live tattooing, missing pants, singing, dancing, and that time Brendan broke Jenna’s knee (the jury is still out on how intentional that was).
They’re returning to the Factory Theatre for the Comedy Fest with double the trouble, putting on two shows with two seperate lineups on Thursday, Apr 28 and Friday, Apr 29. Thursday night features the delectable talents of Marlena Dali, Natali Caro and Madeleine Stewart, while Friday night features AJ Lamarque, Lily Starr and Alex Reynolds.
Get your tickets for $20-$25 here. With both shows kicking off at the witching hour of 9.30pm, why not pre-game by catching another comedy show at the Factory earlier in the evening?
